RockRooster Boots: Every Step Matters
The Challenge
Rockrooster makes work boots built for people who are on their feet all day, in every kind of job. Tina reached out to Snowy Peak Films through Instagram with a clear goal: a lifestyle product video that showed the quality of the boots, not on a shelf, but on the people who depend on them.
The video had to do a lot of work online. It needed to sell on Rockrooster's website and Amazon product pages, hold attention on social media, and run as paid advertising. That meant a polished hero video plus shorter versions sized for fast-scrolling feeds, all with a premium, cinematic look that matched the product.

Our Solution
We built the video around real work in real places. Instead of a studio shoot, we put Rockrooster boots on working people across Colorado and let the environments tell the story of durability and craftsmanship.
Pre-production. We wrote a 90-second script and storyboarded the concept, then scouted locations, built shot lists and cast volunteer talent, with Rockrooster's team reviewing at each step. Talent kept their boots as a thank-you, so the people on screen were wearing gear they'd keep using.
Six worlds of work. Over three shoot days in the Denver metro area, our director, cinematographer and grip filmed:
• A female brewer at work in a craft brewery
• A mechanic shop
• A woodworking shop
• A large-equipment landscaping crew
• A smaller yard-care crew
• A working ranch with horses
Cinematic production. We shot on a RED cinema camera package in 4K, using sliders, a dolly and a gimbal for smooth, premium movement that let the boots and the work shine.
Post-production. We auditioned professional voice-over talent and presented top options, then cut the 90-second hero video with licensed music, sound design and a full audio mix. From the same voice-over, we built two 30-second cut-downs, swapping in fresh shots from the extra footage so each version felt distinct.
