Video Production in Castle Rock, Colorado
A Castle Rock video production company that actually lives here. Commercials, corporate video, ads and social content for Douglas County businesses.
Snowy Peak Films is a video production company headquartered in Castle Rock, Colorado. We moved the company here from Littleton in 2019, and it’s where we live and are raising our families. Co-founder Joe Panepinto has called Castle Rock home for 24 years, and co-founder Troy Waterman for 8.
That makes a Castle Rock shoot a short drive, not a travel day. We already know the town, the venues and the light, and we can scout a location on the way home. We’re an Emmy Award-winning team, and we’ve been producing video in Colorado since 2009.

Castle Rock clients and projects
Local clients and projects include Celltronix, Where Food Comes From, Castle Rock Summer Jam, The John Saunders Band, The Meadows Community Association and Macanta. The work runs from concert and event coverage to brand video for companies with national customers.
- Mobility Auto Group. A brand film for the opening of its second location in Littleton, where Snowy Peak was based until 2019, made to help a local wheelchair-accessible van dealer compete with national chains.
- CRED. Part of this two-commercial campaign was filmed just south of town in Deckers, on the South Platte River.
- Keeping Colorado Local. A statewide ballot campaign: seven films and three broadcast spots, produced against a 24-hour clock.
Where we’ve filmed in town

What we make for Douglas County businesses
- Commercials for broadcast, streaming and social, built so one shoot gives you 30-, 15- and 6-second versions. See commercial production.
- Streaming TV aimed at Douglas County. Connected TV is bought by ZIP code, so a Castle Rock business can run on Hulu, Peacock and Max in Castle Rock, Parker, Lone Tree and Highlands Ranch without paying for the rest of the state. See CTV and OTT advertising.
- Meta and social content. Facebook and Instagram ads that retarget people who have already seen you, plus social video shot in batches and managed as a monthly program. If you already have a page with followers, we start posting from week one. See social media and Meta.
- Corporate video and events: brand films, training, testimonials, community events and concerts. See corporate video and event and conference video.
Why a local crew helps
Being in town makes the practical side easier. We can scout a location on short notice, meet you at your business rather than on a video call, and plan exterior shoots around the light, because working with the light costs less than replacing it. For a business that wants a steady stream of social content, it also means a crew that can come back every month without a travel day attached.
What it costs in Castle Rock
Smaller local projects start lower than most people expect. A single videographer for a day of event coverage starts at $1,500, and a two-person testimonial shoot at $2,500. Social media retainers start at $1,500 a month with a three-month minimum, and commercials start at $8,000. To see what a full campaign costs with media included, try What a Campaign Costs.

Questions about video production in Castle Rock
Is Snowy Peak Films based in Castle Rock?
Yes. Castle Rock has been our headquarters since 2019, when we moved the company here from Littleton, and our co-founders live in town. We also have offices in Denver and Colorado Springs.
Do you work with small local businesses?
Yes. Corporate and event video starts at $1,500 for a single videographer day, and social media retainers start at $1,500 a month, so local businesses do not need a big-brand budget to work with us.
Can you run ads that reach only Douglas County?
Yes. Connected TV is bought by ZIP code and Meta by location, so a campaign can be limited to Castle Rock, Parker, Lone Tree, Highlands Ranch or anywhere else you serve.
Do you charge travel to Parker, Lone Tree or Highlands Ranch?
No. Douglas County is home, and the whole Front Range is local for us, so there is no travel fee.
