We build each crew around the project. If you do cinematic, authentic work, we want to see your reel.
Snowy Peak Films makes cinematic work: shallow depth of field, natural light shaped with care, and stories that feel authentic. We hire on contract, project by project, and keep a roster of directors, cinematographers, editors, animators and crew we call when the work fits.
Who we hire
Directors
For corporate shoots, an engaging interviewer who puts people at ease and draws out real answers. For commercial work, a creative storyteller who understands both the beauty of the shot and how to get talent to deliver.
Directors of Photography
You understand lighting and how to capture the natural beauty of a scene, and you share our taste for shallow depth of field and authentic storytelling. We shoot on Sony’s FX cameras and still own and operate a RED Komodo.
Editors
You’re proficient in Premiere Pro and DaVinci Resolve, with a working knowledge of coloring raw footage such as Sony S-Log and RED R3D. You edit remotely on your own system, and we connect you to our server for footage. Colorado-based editors are a plus, because it makes footage transfer easier.
Animators
We hire animators for what each project needs. Most of our animation is motion graphics, for explainer videos and in support of live action, with some character animation.
Crew
Gaffers, grips, audio engineers, hair and makeup artists, camera operators, production assistants, and other specialty positions as each shoot needs. When we travel, we book crew locally, so we’d like to hear from experienced crew outside Colorado too.
Good to know
- Every role is a contract booking, per project.
- Bookings follow our production schedule, so they aren’t on a regular weekly cadence.
- We don’t offer internships.
