The Challenge
The NSA's annual conference is where its community comes alive, and the organization needed to capture that energy in content it could use long after the event ended.
With more than 800 attendees, general sessions, keynotes and up to nine breakout rooms running at once, there was far more happening than one camera could catch. The NSA wanted footage for several goals at the same time:
• Short social media reels and shorts
• Year-end fundraising videos
• Recruiting first-time attendees
• Outreach to speech-language pathologists and parents
• Promoting the 2026 conference
The NSA's small team is based out of state. It needed a Denver crew that could plan remotely, film several rooms at once and take care with personal stories from people who stutter.

Our Solution
We planned the coverage around the NSA's own shot list and day-at-a-glance schedule, then built an editing workflow that could handle dozens of deliverables.
Pre-production. We worked with the NSA's executive director, conference programming lead and AV company months ahead. Together we mapped which sessions to film, how to tap each room's sound board for clean audio, and where to place locked-off cameras.
Multi-room coverage over four days. Our crew ran up to four cameras at once, filming:
• General sessions and keynotes, with audio recorded straight from the soundboard
• Breakout workshops and panels across multiple rooms
• Sit-down interviews in a lit, quiet space
• Quick "on the go" interviews with attendees in the registration hall
• Registration, reunions and the closing ceremony
Post-production built for review. Our editor, Lauren, posted every cut to a shared Monday.com board so the NSA's marketing team could comment in one place. We also created 91 string-outs and 47 event and interview layouts so the team could browse the footage and choose the stories they wanted.

The Results
The NSA left with a full library of conference content: 31 edited videos and a complete archive of the event.
• 31 edited videos across highlights, keynotes, workshops, featurettes and social clips, including vertical versions for social media
• About 2.5 TB of footage delivered and organized by day, session and interview type
• 800+ attendees' experience captured across four days and multiple rooms
• Personal stories preserved, including featurettes on individual attendees that the NSA can reuse for outreach

Where It Ran
The content was built for year-round use across the NSA's channels:
• Social media: vertical (9:16) versions of the highlight reel and keynotes, plus short clips for Reels, Shorts and the NSA's Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and YouTube
• Fundraising and outreach: year-end fundraising, first-time attendee recruitment, and outreach to speech-language pathologists and parents
• 2026 conference promotion: highlight footage to help promote next year's event
• In-house editing: the full raw archive, so the NSA's team can keep cutting new content from the conference
“Thanks again for all your work on the conference videos!!”
