Privacy Policy
Last updated October 5, 2026
This policy explains what information Snowy Peak Films (“we”, “us”) collects when you visit snowypeakfilms.com or contact us through it, what we do with that information, and the choices you have. Snowy Peak Films is a video production and marketing company based in Colorado.
What we collect
Information you give us. When you request a quote, we ask for your name, email address, company, phone number, budget range, a description of your project, and, if you choose to fill them in, your location, timeline, the type of work you need, your audience and how you heard about us. When you download one of our guides, we ask for your email address and, optionally, your name and company. If you email, call or text us, we receive whatever you send.
If you apply to work with us, we collect your name, email, phone, location, reel link, day rate and gear list, and use them only to consider you for productions.
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, ours records technical information when you visit: your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you view, and the site or ad that referred you. Some of this is collected through cookies and similar technologies, described below.
How you found us. When you arrive from a link or an ad, we store the referring site and any campaign tags in the link (for example utm_source or a Google Ads click ID) in a cookie on your device for up to 90 days. If you later send us a form, that source is attached to your enquiry so we know which of our marketing is working.
How we use it
- To reply to your enquiry, prepare a quote and deliver the work you hire us for
- To send you the guide or resource you asked for, and occasional follow-up about our services, which you can stop at any time
- To understand how visitors use the site and which advertising brings people to it, so we can improve both
- To show our advertising to people who have visited the site, on platforms such as Facebook and Instagram
- To keep the site secure, prevent spam and meet our legal obligations
Text messages
Our forms include an optional box to agree to be contacted by phone, text or email about your enquiry. If you tick it, we may text you about your project. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any message to opt out, or HELP for help. Agreeing to texts is never a condition of working with us.
We do not sell, rent or share your mobile number or text-messaging consent with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. Mobile information is shared only with the service providers that deliver our messages on our behalf.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with:
- Service providers that run parts of our business for us, under their own privacy and security terms: GoHighLevel (our customer relationship and messaging system), WP Engine (website hosting), Google (Analytics and email) and Meta (advertising measurement).
- Video platforms. Videos on the site are played from Vimeo or YouTube. We load them in their privacy-enhanced modes where available, but those services may still record that a video was played.
- Legal and safety. When the law requires it, or to protect our rights, our clients or the public.
- A change of ownership. If Snowy Peak Films is merged or sold, your information would pass to the new owner under this policy.
Cookies, analytics and advertising
We use these on the site:
- Google Analytics counts visits and shows us which pages and sources are useful. You can opt out with Google’s Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
- The Meta Pixel tells Facebook and Instagram when someone who saw our ads visits the site or sends us a form, so we can measure and target our advertising. You can manage how Meta uses this in your Facebook ad preferences.
- Our own source cookie remembers how you found us, as described above.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site will still work. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we do not load Google Analytics or the Meta Pixel for you.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiries and client records for as long as we have a working relationship with you and for a reasonable time afterwards for our business, tax and legal records. You can ask us to delete your information sooner, as described below.
How we protect it
The site is served over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection, and access to the systems that hold your information is limited to the people who need it. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect what you share with us.
Your choices
- Ask what information we hold about you, and ask us to correct or delete it
- Unsubscribe from our emails with the link in any of them, or reply STOP to our texts
- Block cookies or use the opt-outs above
To make a request, email hello@snowypeakfilms.com. We will respond within 45 days. Depending on where you live, including Colorado, you may have additional rights under state privacy law, and we will honor them where they apply.
Children
This site is meant for businesses and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.
